Purée 1 very ripe peeled banana (preferably frozen), 2
pitted Medjool dates, 1 cup frozen mango chunks, 3/4 cup coconut water,
1/2 cup frozen blackberries or blueberries, 1/4 cup plain yogurt, and 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds in a blender until smooth.
Customize it
Keep the bananas and dates for sweetness and body. The rest is up to you:
Liquid: Don't have coconut water? Use orange juice.
Fruits:
Pick tender fruits, like
berries, and tropical fruits, such as pineapple. We like the ease and
texture of store-bought frozen, but fresh (with a few ice cubes) is
fine, too.
Thickener:
For a lighter, thinner drink, skip the yogurt.
